At Grafton Public School we
encourage participation in a wide range of cultural pursuits. A wonderful
addition to our fabulous Band Program is our Choir Program which operates on the
Queen Street site.
Year 2 to 6 students are
offered the opportunity to participate in choir. For many years, Mrs Elaine Ware led a wonderful (Year
3 - 4) Junior Choir which has performed at the Grafton
Eisteddfod and delighted elderly residents of Dougherty Villa.
In 2012, Mrs Leigh Robertson
established a selective choir for students in Years 3 to 6. Known as the ‘All
Grades Choir’, it performed at the Saraton Theatre with the Northern Sydney
Beaches Regional Choir and embarked on a ‘walking town tour’ in Term 4,
entertaining locals at a number of main street venues.
In 2013, the choir performed at the Grafton Eisteddfod, Grafton Shoppingworld and embarked on local
school tours as well as aged care facility performances.

lunchtime periods prior to competitions or performance.
The ‘All Grades Choir’ is a selective choir. Auditions for selection are held at
